DESCRIPTION

More and more maintenance employees are required to cross-traditional craft lines and perform the work of another discipline. Recent additions to OSHA regulations (29CFR1910 Subpart S) have made a requirement that only a qualified person can perform electrical work. This does not mean they have to be an electrician. However, cross skill workers must be able to identify any hazards that may exist before performing any electrical work.
