Description

Saat ini sistem turbin gas telah banyak diterapkan untuk berbagai keperluan seperti mesin penggerak generator listrik, mesin industri, pesawat terbang dan lainnya. Keunggulan sistem turbin gas diantaranya adalah dapat dipasang dengan cepat dan biaya investasi yang relatif rendah jika dibandingkan dengan instalasi turbin uap dan motor diesel untuk pusat tenaga listrik. Meskipun dalam beberapa hal sedikit lebih rumit jika dibandingkan system turbin uap. Sebagai alat yang tersusun atas komponen-komponen utama seperti air inlet section, compressor section, combustion section, turbine section, dan exhaust section, kinerja Gas-turbine engine haruslah terjaga reliabilitasnya. Oleh karena itu perlu adanya suatu pemahaman yang memadai dari para teknisi dan operator dalam mengoperasikan gas-turbine engine agar keandalannya dan performanya tetap terjaga.
